Hamas
said on Sunday (14/12) the killing of their senior commander by Israel threatened the continuity of the ceasefire in Gaza.
He also called on the President of the United States (US) Donald Trump to demand that Israel comply with the terms of the ceasefire that had been agreed upon.

reported that thousands of Hamas supporters gathered in the center of Gaza City during the funeral of Raad Saat, a senior commander who served as head of Hamas weapons production.He and three of his colleagues were killed on Saturday (13/12) at the hands of Israel.
Mourners shouted “The martyrs are loved by Allah” and carried the body in a coffin draped with a green Hamas flag.
The gathering of people at the funeral was one of the group’s largest demonstrations of presence since a US-backed ceasefire deal took effect in Gaza in October.
Previously, Israel stated that Raad Saad was killed in an attack in the Tel Al-Hawa district, southwest of Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz in a joint statement also said Saad was killed in an Israeli operation launched in response to “a Hamas bomb blast that injured our troops today in the Yellow Area of the Gaza Strip.”
Netanyahu and Katz described Saad as “one of the architects” of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack.
