, does not want to prejudice anyone, behind the issue of his impeachment from the position of Chairman of the PBNU.
According to Gus Yahya, rumors about his impeachment are already wild and incoherent circulating among the public.He didn’t want to be prejudiced either.
“I don’t want to be prejudiced,” said Gus Yahya after attending the Coordination Meeting of PWNU Chairs throughout Indonesia at the Navator Hotel Surabaya, East Java, Sunday (23/11) early morning.

The caretaker of the Raudlatut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School in Leteh, Rembang, Central Java, said that before the rumors of his impeachment started circulating, he himself was subject to various negative accusations.
“Before this, the rumors were just crazy. I had heard rumors. All kinds of accusations against me, like this and that, I ate IDR 900 billion, I made all kinds of things, that had already come out,” he said.
However, Gus Yahya does not want to act or act rashly, let alone prejudice anyone regarding the issue of his impeachment from the position of Chairman of the PBNU.He admitted that he did not have enough courage to accuse someone.
“But I don’t want to act based on rumors or prejudice. That’s all. If it’s clear then I’ll take a stand. If it’s not clear, I don’t want to, I don’t dare. Let alone profiteering from NU,” he concluded.
As is known, Yahya Cholil Staquf or Gus Yahya is facing the issue of an attempt to impeach himself from the position of General Chair of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board.
The issue of Gus Yahya’s impeachment was revealed through the PBNU Syuriyah Daily Meeting Minutes document as of November 20 2025.
Based on the document, the Syuriyah Daily Meeting was said to have been attended by 37 people out of a total of 53 PBNU Daily Syuriyah Management.
The minutes document itself was signed by Rais Aam PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar.However, the validity of the document has not been confirmed.
