on Tuesday (11/11) evening.The fire quickly grew and the Bandung City Fire and Rescue Service (Diskar PB) officers have not succeeded in extinguishing it.
Head of the Bandung City PB Diskar, Soni Bachtiar, said that his party received a report of a fire at around 19.00 WIB.A team from UPT Selatan was immediately dispatched to the location with a fast response time.

“Our response time was 5 minutes from South UPT. When we arrived at the location, the fire was quite big and had burned around 15 wood blocks,” said Soni at the scene.
To extinguish the fire, Diskar PB deployed 15 transmitter units including command cars, as well as around 70 personnel.Officers struggled for some time to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings around the location.
It is currently suspected that the cause of the fire came from an electrical short circuit.However, further investigations will still be carried out to determine the source of the fire.
Meanwhile, Johan (52), one of the residents and owner of a squat nearby, admitted that he learned about the incident while he was at the mosque.
“I was initially at the mosque, then someone told me that there was a fire on the stall. When I came here, the fire was already big. Thank God, my squat wasn’t hit, but my neighbors were,” he said.
Separately, Babakan Ciparay Police Chief Commissioner Kurniawan said the location of the kiosk fire was in RW 5, Jalan Pasirkoja, Bandung City.Meanwhile, the location of the land in dispute is in RW 4 or opposite it.
“The location is RW 5, Sukahaji Village, if the problem (dispute) is RW 4 opposite,” he said, in the same place.
