GoTo Corporate Secretary RA Koesoemohadiani emphasized that his party is monitoring media reports regarding possible future corporate actions involving the company.
“At this stage, there is no new information that we can convey apart from what the company has conveyed in the previous information disclosure,” said Koesoemohadiani in the IDX information disclosure, Monday (1/12).

He emphasized that GoTo is an Indonesian company that will consistently support government priorities.
Apart from that, Koesoemohadiani emphasized that the welfare of GoTo driver partners remains the company’s main goal.
Even so, GoTo said that it was open to various discussions that could support the long-term interests of all the company’s stakeholders.
“If there is a more mature process, where it will involve various parties, the company will always comply with all applicable laws and regulations,” explained Koesoemohadiani.
“The company continues to be committed to transparency and will convey all material information in accordance with regulatory requirements, and at the same time will always focus on strong execution and serving customers effectively, which is the best effort to strengthen achievements for all parties,” he continued.
Danantara’s involvement in the GoTo-Grab merger plan is related to investment by Telkom and its subsidiary, namely PT Telekomunikasi Selular Indonesia (Telkomsel).The BUMN invested around IDR 6.4 trillion to acquire GoTo shares.
Meanwhile, BPI Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani gave a positive signal regarding the issue of the merger between GoTo and Grab.
He said the negotiation process for the merger of the two companies in the transportation sector was still ongoing with progress of around 25 to 30 percent.
“Positive, the signal is positive,” said Rosan after a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, last Thursday (27/11).
