Golden song from
KPop Demon Hunters
still has excellent performance on the popular United States music chart, the Billboard Hot 100, after its release in July 2025.
In Billboard’s report on Monday (24/11), the soundtrack song performed by HUNTR/X was still in number two position in the last four weeks.

Previously, Golden was in number one position in
Billboards
Hot 100 for eight weeks in August.However, the song has fallen from the top of the Hot 100 since Taylor Swift released the album The Life of a Showgirl on October 3 2025.
The single from Swift’s album, The Fate of Ophelia, has since its release remained at the top of the Hot 100. The album has also remained at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart since its release.
With this achievement, Swift became the first artist to debut simultaneously at number one on both the songs and album charts simultaneously for more than seven weeks.
This Golden achievement extends the song’s achievements.When it was officially released as a single on July 4 2025, Golden debuted at position 81 on the popular US charts, the Billboard Hot 100. And just two weeks later, Golden jumped all the way into the Top 10.

Since then, this song has never dropped from the top 10 again.Golden finally reached the number one song position on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time on August 11 2025, or a month after it was released as a single.
After that, Golden made history as the first song by an animated artist to hold the Billboard Hot 100 number one for the longest for five consecutive weeks.
Through Golden, HUNTR/X became the first girl group with more than three members since Destiny’s Child with Bootylicious in 2001, to reach the top of the Billboard charts in more than one category.
Additionally, Golden is the ninth K-pop song to conquer the Hot 100 as well as “the first by a female lead vocalist”.Eight of the nine K-pop songs are from BTS or solo projects of BTS members.
Meanwhile, on the Spotify charts in the United States, Golden managed to surpass BLACKPINK as the female K-pop group with the highest chart results.
