“(embarrassed) because we couldn’t carry out the Conference mandated by the General Chair,” said Teguh when met at the Solo PDIP DPC Office, Thursday (18/12).
Teguh said that the term of office of all Plt in PDIP is only limited to the end of December 2025. With the remaining time available, it will be difficult for the Central Java PDIP Conference to materialize.
“I’m sure he also thought long and hard. It’s already mid-December after the rescheduling (Conferda),” he said.
Apart from the limited term of office, said Teguh, FX Rudy also has to prepare for Christmas 2025.
“On December 20, church activities have started. Mr. Rudy is very orderly when it comes to church activities,” he said.
However, Teguh emphasized that the PDIP DPP would not necessarily accept FX Rudy’s resignation.Moreover, determining the Konferda schedule is the authority of the DPP.
“We’ll just have to wait and see whether this week there will be a reply or response from the DPP regarding Pak Rudyatmo’s resignation letter,” said Teguh.
Previously, FX Rudy admitted to sending a letter to PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to resign as Acting Chair of the Central Java PDIP DPD.
“It’s true [sent a letter asking to resign],” said Rudy when confirmed, Thursday (17/12).
The letter was signed by FX Rudy on December 12 and contained a statement to resign as Acting Chair of the Central Java PDIP DPD as of December 17.In his letter, Rudy said that he was no longer able to carry out this task.
“In order for the organization to run solidly and cohesively, we sincerely and sincerely, starting December 17 2025, resign from the position assigned by General Chairperson Mrs. Hj. Megawati Soekarnoputri as Acting Chair of the Central Java PDIP DPD,” wrote Rudy in his letter.
