Megawati Soekarnoputri before submitting her resignation as Acting Chairperson of the PDIP Central Java (Central Java) DPD.
He detailed that he met Megawati twice, respectively in Bali and Jakarta.
Rudy said the meeting in Bali took place after he returned from the Vatican on Friday (12/12).After the meeting in Bali, Rudy continued to meet with Megawati in Jakarta.

During the meeting in Jakarta, Rudy admitted that he discussed the candidates for Chair of the DPC in Central Java.Apart from discussing the candidate for chairman of the DPC, there was also discussion of the names of companions such as Djarot Saiful Hidayat and Ganjar Pranowo.
“There we discussed the candidates for Chair of the DPC. At that time it was done via zoom while in Bali. Then we discussed the candidates for Chair of the DPC and their companions. (discussion) There were the names of Mr. Djarot, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Komarudin Watubun, Mr. Andres Pareira, Mr. Secretary General (Hasto Kristiyanto), Mr. Aryo Adi and me. Discussion of candidates for chairman of the DPC throughout Central Java,” he said.
Rudy said that during the meeting he did not discuss his plans to resign as Acting DPD PDIP Central Java.He also sent a resignation letter on December 17 2025 after that meeting.
“No, I haven’t (discussed the resignation) before we made it, we have already made it, but before I sent the letter, I had the thought of giving more importance to the party and organization so that it was solid. I did it sincerely and willingly to become an ordinary party member. I sent the letter on December 17 via WhatsApp, then I sent it by post,” he said.
Rudy denied that the regional conference plans had been postponed due to his resignation as Plt.According to him, the authority for the conference schedule rests with the PDIP Party DPP.
“The cancellation of the regional conference has nothing to do with that (resignation). Yes, the important thing is that I am not yet able to lead the DPD PDIP Perjuangan Central Java. The DPP who schedules the schedule is the general chairman’s prerogative,” he explained.
Rudy said that the postponement of the Regional Conference did not only occur in Central Java, but also in other areas.Regarding the position as Plt, we will also wait for direction from the general chairman.
“It’s not hampered, because it was postponed not only here, in several regions it has also been postponed. The term of office of Acting DPC Solo is until December 31, later we will see whether it will be extended or what,” he concluded.
