The person who kidnapped the victim was then arrested in the Sleman area, DI Yogyakarta on Friday (5/12).
Magelang Police Chief Commissioner Herbin Garbawiyata Jaya Sianipar said there was a chase between the officers and the perpetrator.
“We arrested the perpetrators on the road. There was a chase between our team and the suspects around Seturan, Sleman,” said Herbin last Friday as quoted from

“The suspects asked for IDR 16 million so that the victims could be returned,” continued Herbin.

Those who kidnapped the victim were JUR alias JEK (33), II (30), SBM (35), and YBF (25).The four people are residents of Caturtunggal Village, Depok, Sleman.
From the police investigation, it was discovered that they were external DCs from one of the companies.
The kidnapping of the child’s mother began on Friday (28/11), when four suspects came to the victim’s house.They came to collect the motorbike arrears made by the victim’s son with the initials DEA.
At that time, the victim’s family entrusted the money in one installment, and the DEA then intended to pay directly to the dealer in Yogyakarta.
Then on Monday (1/12), the four suspects returned to the victim’s house, but DEA was not at home.
Then on Wednesday (3/12), they returned to the victim’s house and did not meet the DEA.As a result, NR and DEA’s 5 year old sister were forcibly taken as collateral
“Then with good intentions, I wanted to pay directly to the office, to Jogja. Then, he might be angry, because he didn’t get paid, he didn’t get the results. Because he didn’t meet me, in the end the mother was taken for bail,” said DEA, Saturday (6/12).
On Wednesday, NR and her toddler child were taken by the perpetrator to the Tegalrejo Police for mediation.But mediation failed.Furthermore, instead of returning the victim home, they took him to another place.
“Left from here at around 19.30 WIB, continue to the Tegalrejo Police Station. There (the police station) was greeted well, the report was rejected. If you want to discuss things well, that’s allowed. However, they spoke loudly (accompanied by curses),” said NR.
NR admitted that he was taken around Magelang until early morning.NR suspects that the DCs took him around because they were confused about where to keep him.
“Sat around (around the police station) until 23.00 WIB. After leaving the Tegalrejo Police Station, I was taken for a ride to Rindam (while they consulted). At around 02.00 WIB in the morning, then I arrived at Sleman in the morning,” he said.
“While walking, DC was confused. Because later I wanted to be given where (a place to be held). I was taken to a house in the Kledokan area, Depok, Sleman,” he continued.
NR admitted that during almost two days of being held captive, she and her child were only given one meal of packed rice and water to drink.
Meanwhile, on the same day the DEA reported the alleged kidnapping of his mother and sister to the Magelang Police.
Then on Friday (5/12), at around 03.00 WIB NR and his child were taken away from the rented house.
“After the child wakes up, he goes down on a motorbike. It’s like a minimarket, stops,” he said.
At the minimarket the perpetrators were arrested.He, who had felt panicked, only calmed down after finding out that it was the police who had made the arrest.
“I was shocked, as soon as I got off the motorbike, I was arrested (I panicked). Then I was asked to calm down (by the police), I immediately kept quiet. It was already more than 03.00 WIB,” he said.
NR and her child were finally taken to the Magelang Police.The two of them met with DEA who at that time was still at the Magelang Police.
