(MA) Zarof Ricar complied with the summons of KPK investigators today, Monday (15/12).
Zarof, who is currently a convict in a corruption case, was taken to the KPK’s Red and White Building from the Salemba Penitentiary (Lapas) in a detention car.With his hands handcuffed, he arrived at around 10.45 WIB.
“We are asking for information regarding Mr. Hasbi [former Supreme Court Secretary Hasbi Hasan],” said Zarof briefly when the KPK officers were about to be taken to the second floor of the examination room.

It is not yet known whether Zarof is involved in the case involving Hasbi, so he must be examined.The Corruption Eradication Commission has not provided much information and has only confirmed the inspection agenda.
“It’s true, today the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has scheduled a summons for an examination of Mr. ZR, former Head of the Supreme Court Legal and Judicial Training Research and Development Agency, in the capacity as a witness, in the investigation of the alleged corruption/TPPU case related to case management at the Supreme Court,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed via written message, Monday (15/12).

This effort was intended to influence the judge hearing the cassation case to hand down an acquittal sentence against Ronald Tannur in accordance with the Surabaya District Court decision Number: 454/Pid.B/2024/PN.Sby dated July 24 2024.
Ronald Tannur’s case at the cassation level was examined and tried by the chairman of the panel, Soesilo, with member judges Sutarjo and Ainal Mardhiah.
On Tuesday, October 22 2024, the Supreme Court overturned Ronald Tannur’s acquittal and sentenced him to five years in prison.
However, the decision in case number: 1466/K/Pid/2024 was colored by differences of opinion or dissenting opinion by the chairman of the panel, Soesilo.
According to him, from the facts at the trial, there was no malicious intent or mens read from Ronald Tannur to kill Dini Sera Afriyanti.
Zarof was also found to have been proven to have received gratification of approximately Rp. 915 billion and precious metal gold amounting to approximately 51 kilograms from parties who had cases before the court at the first level, appeal, cassation and judicial review.
Meanwhile, Hasbi Hasan is also a convict in a bribery case worth IDR 11.2 billion related to the processing of the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) case and gratuities.
On Tuesday, December 3 2024, the Supreme Court rejected the appeal he submitted.
Thus, the verdict of 6 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion subsidiary 6 months in prison plus compensation money of IDR 3,880,844,400 subsidiary 1 year in prison has been confirmed.
Case number: 7143 K/PID.SUS/2024 was examined and tried by the chairman of the Desnayeti cassation panel with member judges Agustinus Purnomo Hadi and Yohanes Priyana.Substitute Registrar Diah Rahmawati.
Along the way, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) again processed Hasbi’s law on suspicion of corruption and TPPU.
