Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Anang Supriatna said the execution would be carried out after the Supreme Court rejected the appeal submitted by Zarof Ricar.

“The South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office will immediately carry out the execution after receiving a copy of the cassation decision,” he told reporters, Friday (14/11).
Anang explained that with the Supreme Court’s decision, Zarof’s sentence of 18 years in prison had permanent or permanent legal force.

The money worth IDR 915 billion and 51 kilograms of gold found by the Attorney General’s Office at Zarof’s residence was confiscated for the state.This is because Zarof cannot explain the origin of his wealth, which he said was obtained from a legitimate source.
