Data collected from the Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBA) shows that the flood disaster has now hit 16 districts/cities.
Each in the districts of Pidie, Aceh Besar, Pidie Jaya, Aceh Tamiang, Southeast Aceh, West Aceh, Subulussalam, Bireuen, Lhokseumawe, East Aceh, Langsa, Bener Meriah, Gayo Lues, Aceh Singkil, North Aceh and South Aceh.

“As of 27 November 2025 at 16.00 WIB, 119,988 people were affected and 20,759 people were displaced. Most of the incidents were still triggered by high rainfall, strong winds and landslides,” said Acting Head of BPBA, Fadmi Ridwan to journalists, Thursday (27/11).
From temporary data, the victims of floods and landslides were 9 residents of Central Aceh, 2 in North Aceh, 1 in Bener Meriah and 2 residents of Southeast Aceh Regency.
The Aceh government has declared a provincial disaster emergency status after almost all city districts were hit by floods and landslides.
This determination saw the development of the disaster in Aceh which was getting worse and causing infrastructure such as provincial roads and bridges connecting between regions to collapse.
“I am the Governor of Aceh enacting the decision of the Governor of Aceh regarding the determination of the emergency response status for hydrometeorological disasters in Aceh in 2025,” said Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf alias Mualem after holding a plenary meeting at the Aceh DPR, Thursday (27/11).
The determination of the disaster emergency response status will last for 14 days from November 28 to December 11 2025.
