Former Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)

had time to convey his last message before he died due to illness, Saturday (8/11).
Antasari’s son-in-law, Ardiansyah, conveyed the wishes of the former KPK chairman while he was in hospital.Antasari was hospitalized because he was infected with the virus.
“But, thank God, he [Antasari] wanted to die at home. When he told me he wanted to die at home, he wanted to go home,” said Ardiansyah.

With the permission of the doctor and the hospital medical team, Antasari was allowed to go home.
“So we went home and early in the morning he was in critical condition, maybe he was old,” said Ardiansyah again.
Antasari died at 10.57 at the age of 72 years.He died at his home in the Les Belles Mainsons E-10 Housing Complex, North Serpong District, South Tangerang City.
He then said that as a family representative he apologized for the late Antasari’s mistakes during his life, both when he served as chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and when he was at the Prosecutor’s Office.Ardiansyah also asked the public to also pray for Antasari so that the late Husnul Khotimah would be blessed.
“Once again, I apologize from the representative family, that’s all from us,” he said.
Based on hitclubapk3 Indonesia’s monitoring on Saturday, the funeral home in Les Belles Mainsons E-10, North Serpong District was filled with mourners.
One by one, bouquets of condolence flowers arrived and filled the road leading to the funeral home yard.Also present were Antasari’s attorney, Boyamin Saiman and the Chair of the National Police Reform Commission, Jimly Asshiddiqie.
