Fajar/Fikri shot to become one of the elite men’s doubles pairs after being paired in the middle of this year.Previously, Fajar played with Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Fikri in a duet with Daniel Marthin.

“Thank God we were able to get to the final and qualify for the World Tour Finals. There was never a target when starting a pair with Fikri. This feels really extraordinary, we just try our best in every match,” said Fajar after the Australian Open semifinal match.
In the Australian Open semifinal match, Fajar/Fikri defeated Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani with a score of 21-15, 19-21, 21-16.
The BWF World Tour Finals is a tournament participated in by athletes or pairs in the top eight in the BWF World Tour rankings.
The steps taken by Fajar/Fikri to enter this prestigious event are extraordinary because the two of them only played together at the Japan Open 2025 which took place in mid-July.
