Apart from that, Fadli said that Suharto also succeeded in stopping the G30 rebellion in September 1965, which Fadli called the PKI rebellion.
“And also at that time stopped the rebellion carried out through the 30 September PKI movement,” he said.
Apart from that, Soeharto also played a major role in Indonesia’s development.He said that Suharto played a role in alleviating poverty in Indonesia.
Fadli said that when he took the reins of leadership, inflation was also very serious, reaching 600 percent.

Wave of rejection of Soeharto becoming a National Hero
The title of National Hero was given to the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soeharto, from the 8th President Prabowo Subianto today, Monday (10/11) to coincide with National Heroes’ Day.
President Prabowo symbolically handed over the title of national hero to Suharto’s third son, Bambang Trihatmodjo.
However, giving Suharto the title of National Hero has reaped pros and cons in society.This was caused by allegations of gross human rights violations, authoritarianism, and allegations of rampant corruption, collusion and nepotism during the Soeharto administration.
The Justice Soeharto Civil Society Movement (GEMAS) said the proposal was a disappointing step.
Not only that, Mustasyar, the General Manager of Nahdlatul Ulama, KH Ahmad Mustofa Bisri alias Gus Mus, also rejected this proposal.He explained that many Islamic boarding school and NU clerics were treated unfairly during Soeharto’s reign.
“I at least agree that Suharto was made a National Hero,” said Gus Mus at his residence in Leteh, Rembang, Central Java, as reported by NU Online, Sunday (9/11).
In response to this, Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi said that the pros and cons of an issue are a common thing in democratic life.
He invited all parties to look at things from a positive perspective.
“Let’s reduce it to always look at the shortcomings,” said Pras at the Presidential Palace, Friday (7/11).
