“The supply of diesel fuel or dexlite fuel which is used for the evacuation process and breaking through roads which are still isolated has not yet arrived. If by Monday (8/12), the fuel supply has not arrived, then on Monday there will be no evacuation activities and logistics cannot be distributed,” said Ilham when confirmed, Sunday afternoon.
His party admitted that they had coordinated with various parties including Pertamina, but until now the supply had not arrived.Meanwhile, he said an estimated 46 thousand people there were still isolated after the disaster, and needed logistical assistance.
“46 thousand people are still isolated, which means that logistics supplies can only be delivered on foot because heavy equipment cannot work optimally,” he said.
