The incident was also caught on CCTV cameras and circulated on social media.One of them was uploaded to the Instagram account @infobekasi.
In the uploaded video, the victim can be seen riding a motorbike.The victim was then grabbed by four perpetrators who were riding two motorbikes.

The victim was seen falling while trying to hold on to the bag containing hundreds of millions of rupiah in cash.After that, a security guard near the location immediately helped and the perpetrator immediately ran away.
“A company employee managed to keep money worth IDR 450 million when he was robbed on Jalan Baru Underpass, East Bekasi, Monday afternoon, November 10 2025,” said the statement in the upload.
When confirmed, East Bekasi Police Chief Commissioner Ahmadi said the victim had made a police report and was currently under investigation.
Ahmadi said the perpetrators were suspected of following the victim after the victim took company money from a bank.
“He (the victim) took the company’s money, then he went home, followed by two motorbikes, and was picked up. The company’s money was IDR 450 million,” he said when confirmed, Tuesday (11/11).

As a result of the mugging, the victim suffered a number of injuries while trying to defend the bag containing company money.
“Yes, the perpetrator failed to act. Now my members led by the Head of Serse Unit and members of the Police Resmob are conducting investigations in the field,” he said.
