Star of Korean dramas Signal and Hello Ghost,
Lee Moon-soo
, died at the age of 76 years.The Korean Theater Actors Association announced that Lee Moon-soo died on Friday (28/11).

reported that Lee Moon-soo died at a hospital in the Yangpyeong area, Gyeonggi after battling lung cancer.

“Lee Moon-soo, a senior actor who valued honesty over luxury,” recalled the Korean Theater Actors Association in its official statement.
“He is an actor who has demonstrated his profound acting skills across generations and works.”
Lee Moon-soo started his career as a civil servant to support his family from a young age.However, he has not forgotten the emotions he felt on the school arts festival stage as a child and his passion for acting since high school.

He entered Seoul National University of the Arts and entered the world of acting in earnest.He then joined the National Theater Company in 1989, and remains at the center of the theater scene.
During his tenure at the National Theater Company, he participated in major works such as Trial, Problematic Human Computation, Death of a Salesman, 1984, Seagull, and King Lear.
He increasingly developed his career by consistently starring in dramas and films, until he became increasingly known through the films Hello Ghost, Holy Pedigree, Thousand Years, Let’s Live Properly, and Chatter of Killers.
Lee Moon-soo also starred in the drama Signal (2016).In the drama, he plays the father of Lee Jae-han (Choi Jin-woong) who appears in the modern era.
His character appears during the DNA checking scene to confirm the identity of the bones found.
When the medical examiner manages to provide an autopsy report that matches the bones to Lee Jae-han, his father is present to receive the news, confirming their relationship and his son’s fate.
In 2010, he received an award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for his contribution.
He has now left and left behind his wife, Yoon Se-sook, his son, Lee Ju-mong, and his daughter-in-law, Lee Young-hwa.
Lee Moon-soo is now buried in Room 2 of the funeral hall of Hanyang University Hospital, and the funeral service will be held at 08.20 KST on December 1.He will be buried at Eden Memorial Park.
