The Indonesian mixed dragon boat team won a gold medal in the mixed 500 meter standard boat event at the 2025 SEA Games. This is Indonesia’s 86th gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games as of Friday (19/12) afternoon WIB.
The final competition for the mixed 500 meter standard boat event took place in two rounds on Friday (19/12) afternoon.

In the first round, the Indonesian mixed dragon boat team recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 51.256 seconds.The Indonesian team succeeded in winning over Thailand and Vietnam in the first round.
Then in the second round, the Indonesian mixed dragon boat team was also the fastest with a time of 1 minute 52.826 seconds.The Indonesian team was ahead of representatives from Thailand and Myanmar in the second round.
The Indonesian mixed dragon boat team also managed to become the best in the final match and were entitled to win a gold medal.This is the 86th gold collected by the Indonesian contingent.
Previously, Indonesia won its 85th gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games after the men’s beach volleyball team won the final match at the Sport Arena Jomtien Beach, Chonburi, Friday (19/12).
Indonesia is unbeaten in men’s beach volleyball at the 2025 SEA Games. After beating Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines in the group phase, the Red and White Team overthrew Malaysia in the semifinals.
In the top match, the Indonesian Men’s Beach Volleyball Team beat Thailand with a score of 2-1.After team A won 21-10 and 21-17 in the first match, team B lost 14-21, 21-17, and 10-15.
Indonesia is now in second place in the 2025 SEA Games standings with 86 gold.Meanwhile, Thailand is at the top of the standings.
