Meanwhile, learning starting tomorrow will focus on the recovery process and mental preparation of students before returning to school.
Nahdiana said that classroom learning will be filled by the homeroom teacher and psychologist.Learning will be packaged by providing closer interaction spaces, such as sports and arts, so that children can recover and feel safe again.
Before learning activities begin, the school will also invite parents of students to provide an understanding of the recovery steps taken together with the school, psychologists and local regional elements.
“Currently, officers from the Health Service and PPAPP Service are on guard at the location to ensure the assistance goes well,” he added.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Service, Iin Mutmainnah, confirmed that he would provide psychological support during the recovery period, including during distance learning (PJJ).
He added that the Friends of Women and Children Car (SAPA) had also been presented in the school environment to provide psychological support to students, teachers and affected families, including local residents who needed free counseling.
“We will prepare psychologist support to accompany children during PJJ and the recovery process at school,” he said.
The DKI Jakarta Health Service has also prepared a clinical assistance schedule and deployed medical personnel for victims who still need further treatment.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is also coordinating with the National Police Headquarters and the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) to ensure the availability of psychologists to assist the victims’ recovery process as a whole.
“The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to continuing to accompany all victims, teachers and students of SMAN 72 Jakarta so that they can fully recover, both physically and psychologically, and return to learning activities safely and comfortably,” concluded Iin.
The explosion occurred at SMAN 72, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, Friday (7/11) afternoon.A total of 96 people, mostly students, were injured as a result of the incident.
Up to a day after the incident, 29 victims were still being treated in hospitals and the remaining 67 had been discharged.Apart from RSI Cempaka Putih, there are also Yarsi Hospital and Pertamina Hospital.
“So the total number of people still being treated is approximately 29 out of 96. And the rest went home yesterday and may be undergoing outpatient treatment,” said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
