“After we carried out field verification and coordinated directly with the hospital, the results showed that the rejection claim was not true,” said Ani in a written statement, Friday (14/11).
Ani said the Health Service had coordinated with several hospitals, including the Jakarta Islamic Hospital (RSIJ) Cempaka Putih, Yarsi Hospital, Rojak Hospital, Evasari Hospital, and Cempaka Putih Hospital.
Based on an examination of administrative records and confirmation results with management, no patient data with Repan’s identity was found.
Ani explained that the search results showed that Repan had received initial treatment at St.Carolus and then received further services at Ukrida Hospital, West Jakarta.
According to him, the suspicion of rejection arose because after the initial wound treatment, the patient was directed to report to the police for a post-mortem.
“This procedure is part of standard management in cases of suspected violence, so that medical documentation can be used as evidence in the legal process,” said Ani.
The Health Service has also received CCTV footage showing the process of providing medical services to patients. This visual evidence strengthens the verification results and describes the services provided.
Ani explained that in cases of suspected violence, the flow of medical services is carried out by stabilizing the patient’s condition, recording and documenting injuries completely, and coordinating with the police if necessary for the post-mortem process.
He emphasized that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to ensuring that all residents have access to health services that are fair, safe and dignified.
“We ensure that all health facilities in Jakarta are open to anyone. If there are allegations of violations, we will follow up quickly and transparently,” he said
