Rosmauli explained that summoning taxpayers was part of routine compliance monitoring and communication carried out by the Directorate General of Taxes, Tax Service Office (KPP), regional offices, and the head office.The approach taken is persuasive.
“The approach we are taking is persuasive and data-based, not repressive,” he stressed.
The data suitability that is ensured includes income, differences in asset values, or transactions in SPT with third parties, such as property, banking, share ownership, and other information obtained through risk-based monitoring and data exchange.
Rosmauli also said that the DGT in summoning there was no special treatment or targeting of certain individuals and the process was carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
