This draw failed to lead Belgium to win a ticket to the World Cup on the seventh matchday, but the Rode Duivels team still has the opportunity to achieve certainty of progressing to the 2026 World Cup on the eighth matchday which will take place on November 18 when they face Liechtenstein.
Currently, Belgium leads the UEFA Zone World Cup Qualification Group J standings with 15 points or two points ahead of North Macedonia.
Belgium needs a win over Liechtenstein to qualify for the World Cup.
