The inspection team from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (

) rescheduled the examination of South Aceh Regent Mirwan MS which was previously reported to be held today, Sunday (7/12).
Not only was it rescheduled, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya said there was also the possibility that the inquiry process for Mirwan would be carried out online.

“It will be rescheduled and it will be possible online,” said Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya when confirmed via written message, Sunday (7/12) evening.
Previously, a letter of request circulated from the South Aceh Regency Government dated December 6 2025 addressed to the Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs.The contents of the letter requested a postponement of the request for information by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs towards Regent Mirwan and related officials in South Aceh.

, The South Aceh District Government is said to have instructed and emphasized that all Regional Work Units (SKPD) are required to participate in accelerating the handling of flood and landslide disasters by taking real action in disaster-affected areas.
It was stated that almost all SKPDs were said to be still on duty carrying out disaster management programs or activities at the Trumon Raya location because the situation changed every day due to flooding from shipments from the Southeast Aceh region.
And, according to directions from the Minister of Home Affairs, the Regent of South Aceh will return to the area as soon as possible and make visits to areas affected by the disaster.
