) Hellyana as a suspect in the alleged case

Investigators made the determination of the suspect on Wednesday (17/12), and was stated in the Decree on Determining the Suspect Number: S.Tap/S-4/104/XII/2025/Dittipidum/Bareskrim Polri.
The news of the suspect’s determination was also confirmed by Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.

“Yes, that’s right (Deputy Governor of Babel Hellyana has been named a suspect),” he said when confirmed via short message.
Herdika Sukma Negara as the attorney for the reporter in the alleged fake diploma case also admitted that he had received a notification letter regarding the suspect’s determination from the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
“This information is correct. We have also received a letter notifying us of the suspect’s designation from the National Police Headquarters regarding the diploma of the Deputy Governor, namely Mrs. Hellyana,” he explained.
He admitted that he regretted Hellyana’s use of fake degrees or diplomas.Moreover, he said, this academic degree is still used today.
In fact, if checked through the Higher Education Data Base (PDDIKTI), Hellyana was recorded as having entered college in 2013 and her status ended in resigning in 2014.
“It’s impossible to get a diploma after just studying for one year,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hellyana, through her attorney Zainul Arifin, claimed that her client was the injured party or victim and not the perpetrator of the crime of forgery of diplomas.
“If there is an allegation of forgery of a diploma, then legally our client is the party who suffers the most loss. It is impossible for an incident like that to stand alone without other parties having roles and interests,” he explained.
Previously, the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung, Hellyana, was reported to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit regarding a case of alleged fake diplomas, on Monday (21/7).
The report was submitted by Bangka Belitung University student, Ahmad Sidik accompanied by his attorney Herdika Sukma Negara.
The report has been received and registered with number LP/B/339/VII/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI, dated July 21 2025.
“Today we came from Bangka Belitung to report that the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung with the initials H is suspected of using a fake diploma,” said Herdika at Bareskrim Polri.
