CS related to the fake diploma case of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
He said that the suspect status addressed to Roy Suryo Cs was an attempt to silence critical voices regarding power.
“I decided to become a lawyer because I wanted to emphasize that there should be no use of power which then silences people’s critical attitudes, even when dealing with former presidents,” said Denny via Instagram, Friday (14/11) yesterday.

Apart from that, he emphasized that he had joined in defending Roy Suryo and colleagues against Jokowi, who had destroyed democracy at the end of his term.
Then, Denny also said that everyone has the right to reveal the truth of public documents such as diplomas, and that no one should report them to the police, including former presidents.
“In fact, what we have been waiting for a long time, former President Jokowi should show the authenticity of his diploma with a gentleman,” he said.
Polda Metro Jaya named eight suspects in the Jokowi fake diploma case.The police divided the suspects into two clusters.
Cluster
first
consisting of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
Cluster
second
consisting of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
In this case, investigators said Roy Suryo cs had spread false accusations and misled the public.
This conclusion is based on the results of examination of 130 witnesses and 22 experts, including an in-depth examination of 723 pieces of evidence.
