Dejan/Bernadine performed well when they beat the seventh seeds from Thailand, Pakkapon Teeraratsakul/Sapsiree Taerattanachai with a score of 21-19, 21-16, in the final, Sunday (30/11).
The victory brings the first Super 300 title for the pair who were only paired this year.

“Thank God, we can win again here. After winning Super 100, this time we can become Super 300 champion,” said Dejan.

Dejan said that the development of the collaboration with Bernadine had progressed quickly in the last four to five months.According to him, this increase is important capital for preparing for the next tournament.
“So far it is starting to improve and Bernadine’s individual skills are also starting to improve. She is starting to know how to play and what to focus on. In the past four or five months she has learned quickly and this has become capital for us,” he said.
However, Dejan emphasized that there are still many aspects that need to be improved so that their performance becomes more stable at the top level.
“We still have a lot of evaluation to do. In terms of defense, it’s not yet tight enough, in terms of playing patterns, there’s still a lot of homework to do. Hopefully it will continue to progress and the future will be much better,” he added.
