) Dedi Mulyadi aka KDM expands the policy of temporarily suspending the issuance of housing permits.
Initially the moratorium only applied in the Greater Bandung area.Now, this rule is officially enforced throughout the West Java region.
This policy is stated in the Circular Letter of the Governor of West Java Number: 180/HUB.03.08.02/DISPERKIM concerning Temporary Suspension of Issuance of Housing Permits in the West Java Province Region which was issued on December 13 2025.

Head of the West Java Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo), Mas Adi Komar confirmed the circular regarding the expansion of the policy of temporarily stopping the issuance of housing permits throughout West Java.

In the circular, Dedi emphasized that potential hydrometeorological disasters such as flash floods and landslides not only threaten Greater Bandung, but almost all areas in West Java.

Through this policy, the West Java Provincial Government has temporarily stopped issuing housing permits until each district/city has the results of a disaster risk study and has made adjustments to the regional spatial plan (RTRW).

Regional governments are also asked to review development locations that are proven to be in disaster-prone areas such as areas prone to landslides and floods.
Apart from that, local governments in West Java are also asked to review development locations which are rice fields, plantations, as well as areas that have important functions for the environment such as water catchment areas, conservation areas and forestry areas.
Development supervision
Supervision of the construction of houses, housing and buildings has also been tightened.
