So far the number has increased to 15 people, including one child.
One of the shooters also died at the scene, bringing a total of 16 people to death in the mass shooting incident at Bondi Beach on Sunday (14/12).

Australian police said 14 people died at the scene, while two others died in hospital overnight.Apart from the dead, 40 other people were injured.
Police said the dead victims ranged in age from 10 to 87 years.
Australia’s state health service, NSW Health, said the injured were taken to several hospitals in Sydney including Prince of Wales Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
At the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, which specializes in trauma care, there are three patients being treated in critical but stable condition, and one patient in critical condition.
Police have identified a father and son namely Sajid Akram and his son Naveed Akram as the masterminds of the shooting.50-year-old Sajid Akram was shot by police and died at the scene, while his 24-year-old son suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital under police escort.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the shooting was “an act of pure evil, an act of antisemitism and an act of terrorism in our Motherland”.
“This was a deliberate attack aimed at the Jewish community. On the first day of Hanukkah, which should be a joyful celebration,” Albanese said.
“Today all Australians embrace them. And say we stand with you. We will do whatever is necessary to eradicate anti-Semitism,” he added.
