The dancers and concert crew of The Eras Tour were shocked beyond belief, they even admitted that they almost fainted, when they received a letter containing a bonus check with a large amount from
Taylor Swift
.
This appeared in the second episode of the Taylor Swift documentary series, The End of an Era, which aired on Friday (12/12) on Disney+.

Swift prepared the bonus herself with her mother, Andrea.He wrote a letter of thanks and the bonus in a handwritten letter to each dancer and crew of The Eras Tour.
The letter was even sealed with gold wax on the back of the envelope.Swift admitted that his intention to write the letter almost brought the fire brigade to the location where he was staying.
Taylor Swift then shared the letter with her dancers and crew personally, while thanking them for their hard work during The Eras Tour.
One of the dancers, Kameron Saunders, was then asked to read the letter aloud.After finding out the contents of the letter and the amount they received, the dancers were immediately amazed.
Not just screaming, some of the dancers seemed stunned trying to digest what they received.One of the dancers even had to take an inhaler to stay calm, while another member of the crew staggered against a table and said he felt like he was going to faint.
On December 10, 2024, Taylor Swift reportedly gave bonuses outside of salary to the entire crew of The Eras Tour with a total of up to US$197 million or the equivalent of IDR 3.1 trillion (US$1=Rp. 15,860), right after the tour finished on Sunday (8/12).
As reported by People, Monday (9/12), the crew who received the bonus were truck drivers, cooks, instrument technicians, sales teams, lighting and sound systems.
Then also for production staff and assistants, construction technicians, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, hair stylists, make-up artists, wardrobe stylists, physical therapists and video teams.
Variety said the total bonuses amounted to almost 10 percent of the tour’s overall revenue of more than US$2 billion.
However, it is not known how many total crew members were involved in this tour.If we assume there are 200 crew members involved, then roughly speaking, on average each crew member of The Eras Tour gets a bonus outside of their salary of US$985 thousand or the equivalent of Rp. 15.6 billion for their dedication for the two years of the tour.
