The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that it had never searched the cars belonging to Acting Governor of Riau SF Hariyanto and Regional Secretary of Riau Syahrial Abdi on Monday (10/11).
Corruption Eradication Commission spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the coercive efforts were only focused on the provincial governor’s office.

“There was no specific search for the vehicle in question,” said Budi when confirmed via written message, Tuesday (11/11).
Apart from searching the governor’s office, Budi said investigators also asked the Regional Secretary and the Head of the Riau Protocol Section for necessary information.
However, until this news was written, Budi had not provided information regarding the material investigated by investigators to the two people.
“This time the search focused on the governor’s office, as well as requests for information needed by investigators from the Regional Secretary and the Head of Protocol,” he added.
Investigators confiscated a number of pieces of evidence related to cases of alleged extortion and/or receiving gratuities when they searched the Riau Governor’s Office, Monday (10/11).
“During the search, investigators secured a number of documents and Electronic Evidence (BBE), including those related to the Riau Provincial Government budget documents,” said Budi.
Budi explained that the search was carried out by investigators as a coercive measure in a series of investigative activities to search for and find evidence as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named him a suspect in a case of alleged extortion and/or receiving gratuities in Riau Province.
The suspects are Riau Governor Abdul Wahid and his expert, Dani M Nursalam.
Then the Head of the Riau Province Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, Settlement and Land Areas (PUPR PKPP) Department, M Arief Setiawan.
The suspects have been detained for the first 20 days until November 23 2025.
They are suspected of violating Article 12 letter e and/or Article letter f and/or Article 12B of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
Handling of this case began with Operation Arrest Hand (OTT) in early November.
