This was conveyed by the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, at the Fun Talking to Build Integrity (Bisik) activity on World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) held by the Corruption Eradication Commission’s Directorate of Educational Networks at Janabadra University, Yogyakarta.
“The impact of corrupt behavior is very devastating. Many natural disasters and policy problems that we face today cannot be separated from the corrupt behavior behind them,” said Fitroh, Monday (8/12).

According to him, this condition made the Corruption Eradication Commission feel it was important to intervene in the anti-corruption education sector as a bulwark for behavior change.
“Reaction is only one part, therefore there is something called a trident: education, prevention, action,” he stressed.
This KPK leader with a prosecutor’s background ensures that anti-corruption institutions will continue to strengthen collaboration to encourage an effective anti-corruption education system.
Including through strengthening the curriculum, increasing lecturer capacity, and expanding academic networks.
This strengthening is considered important because the implementation of anti-corruption education, especially in campus areas, is not yet uniform and even and there are no standard assessment indicators.This finding was obtained from the results of the initial evaluation.
“We want the public to see that the Corruption Eradication Commission not only arrests people, but also campaigns against the impact of corruption and strengthens the anti-corruption education system,” he concluded.
