) investigate allegations of criminal acts of corruption in the construction of 31 regional public hospitals (
Hospital
) throughout Indonesia.
Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Asep Guntur Rahayu, explained that this in-depth investigation was carried out in line with the investigation into the alleged corruption case of the East Kolaka Regional Hospital construction project, Southeast Sulawesi.
“We are also investigating 31 other hospitals. Because we suspect that it is not only in East Kolaka that there have been criminal incidents like this,” said Asep at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (24/11) evening.

The construction of the East Kolaka Regional Hospital and 31 other regional hospitals is part of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s Fast Best Results Program in 2025 which is being run by the Ministry of Health.
“We are also looking into this in particular at 31 other regional hospitals. This is a project from the Ministry of Health,” he said.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in August named five suspects in a case of alleged corruption in the construction of a regional hospital in East Kolaka Regency after carrying out a sting operation (OTT).
The five suspects are the Regent of East Kolaka for the period 2024-2029 Abdul Azis (ABZ), the person in charge of the Ministry of Health for the construction of RSUD Andi Lukman Hakim (ALH), the official who made the commitment for the RSUD construction project in East Kolaka Ageng Dermanto (AGD), and two employees of PT Pilar Cadas Putra in the names of Deddy Karnady (DK) and Arif Rahman (AR).
In early November, the Corruption Eradication Committee announced three new suspects in the case.However, his identity cannot be announced to the public.
Yesterday, Monday (24/11), the Corruption Eradication Commission announced the identities of the three suspects and immediately detained them.
They are state civil servants at the Southeast Sulawesi Yasin Regional Revenue Agency (YSN), Chair of the Ministry of Health’s Public Health Laboratory Facilities and Infrastructure Work Team Hendrik Permana (HP), as well as the Main Director of PT Griksa Cipta Aswin Griksa (AGR).
The alleged corruption case related to the construction of the RSUD in East Kolaka is the upgrading of Class D RSUD facilities to Class C with the budget source coming from special allocation funds (DAK).
The project is part of the Ministry of Health’s program to improve the quality of 32 regional hospitals.For this program, the Ministry of Health will allocate funds of IDR 4.5 trillion in 2025.
