, claims to work as a researcher and author of books about marijuana.
He finally turned a rented house on Jalan Pakubuwono, Mojongapit, Jombang into a location for cultivating hundreds of marijuana plants.He also has the desire to change the narcotics legal system in Indonesia to be more rational.
Danto revealed that this case in Jombang was not the first time he had encountered the law.He said he had been in and out of prison five times due to marijuana cases in a number of areas.Including the case he is facing now.

“It’s been five times,” said Danto at the Jombang Police Headquarters, Thursday (18/17).
Danto admitted that all the cases against him were related to marijuana.He said he had undergone legal proceedings in Yogyakarta to Bali, and most recently in Jombang.
“In Jogja three times. Then in Bali once,” he continued.
Danto also explained that his interest in researching marijuana stems from a scientific background.He said he started doing research on marijuana around 2012, with inspiration from ancient Indonesian texts.
“(Started researching from) 2012-2013. My inspiration came from ancient manuscripts. Ancient manuscripts from the archipelago,” he said.
He confirmed that he is a historical researcher and book writer.Even though he knows the legal regulations and criminal threats related to marijuana, Danto stated that he still has hope for policy changes in Indonesia, especially regarding marijuana narcotics.
When asked further whether this hope meant a desire to change Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, Danto said yes.
“Personally, I hope that the Republic of Indonesia can have a more rational narcotics legal system, more in line with the Indonesian nation’s ideology of Pancasila. In line with the values of the archipelago,” said Danto.

marijuana in Mojongapit, Danto admitted that the purchase of equipment was carried out at the request of another suspect named Rama, with funds channeled through him.
This case started with the arrest of Yulius in Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang, Sunday (14/12) afternoon.
From the results of the examination, it was discovered that Yulius bought marijuana seeds which then led to the development of the case and the raid on a rented house in Mojongapit Village, Jombang District, Monday (15/12) at around 11.30 WIB.
During the raid, the police arrested the suspect Rama Susanto (43), a resident of Surabaya.
From inside his rented house, officers confiscated 156 pots containing marijuana plants, 32 grams of dry marijuana, 5.16 grams of wet marijuana, and 3 fermentation jars, as well as a number of equipment used for
greenhouses
marijuana.
The police searched all parts of the rented house.Two of the three rooms are known to function as greenhouses for growing marijuana.Apart from that, the kitchen area and back garden of the house are also used as planting areas.
After arresting Rama, the Jombang Police Narcotics Unit again arrested two people or a husband and wife (couple) who were suspected of being the masterminds and financiers of this marijuana cultivation.
The two are Petrus Ridanto Busono Raharjo (48) alias Danto, a resident of the Yogyakarta Special Region and his wife, IDS (40), a resident of Sidoarjo Regency.
The two of them were arrested at a rented house in Candimulyo Village, Jombang Regency.
