, and Afghanistan have recently been in the spotlight after explosions in the capitals Islamabad and New Delhi this week.
On Monday (10/11), a car exploded near the historic Red Fort site, killing 13 people.

The day after or on Tuesday (11/11), an explosion occurred near the Islamabad court building.At least 12 people died because of this incident.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif blamed India for the explosion in his capital.Sharif accused the bombers of terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan at the behest of India.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani Taliban armed group, also known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the explosion in Islamabad.The TTP stated that it was targeting judges, lawyers and officials who enforce Pakistan’s un-Islamic laws.

Based on Global Firepower 2025 data, Pakistan is ranked 12th as the country with the strongest military in the world.Its PowerIndex score reached 0.2513.
Pakistan is recorded as having a total of around 1,704,000 military personnel, with 654,000 active personnel and 550,000 reserve personnel.
In terms of air power, Pakistan has a total of around 1,399 aircraft.Pakistani military aircraft include fighter jets (328 units), attack aircraft (90 units), transport aircraft (64 units), training aircraft (565 units), special mission aircraft (27 units), tanker aircraft (4 units), helicopters (373 units), and attack helicopters (57 units).
As for land forces, Pakistan excels in armored vehicles.Islamabad is recorded as having 17,516 such vehicles.
Furthermore, Pakistan also has 2,627 battle tanks, 662 self-propelled artillery units, 2,629 towed artillery units and 600 rocket artillery units.
In terms of maritime power, Pakistan has 9 frigates, 9 corvettes, 8 submarines, 69 patrol boats and 3 mine boats.
India
Meanwhile, according to Global Firepower 2025, India is ranked 4th as the country with the strongest military in the world.
India has a total of 5,137,5550 military personnel, with 1,455,550 active personnel and 1,155,000 reserve personnel.
In terms of air power, India is superior in the number of helicopters.New Delhi has 899 helicopters, with another 80 being attack helicopters.
In total, there are around 2,229 military aircraft owned by India.In detail, 513 fighter jets, 130 attack aircraft, 270 transport aircraft, 351 training aircraft, 74 special mission aircraft and 6 tanker aircraft.
For India’s land forces, 94.6 percent is supported by armored vehicles.India has 148,594 armored vehicles, far surpassing Pakistan.
India also has 4,201 tanks, 100 self-propelled artillery units, 3,975 towed artillery units and 264 rocket artillery units.
Then, in the realm of sea power, New Delhi has 2 aircraft carriers, 13 destroyers, 14 frigates, 18 corvettes, 18 submarines and 135 patrol ships.
Afghanistan
On the other hand, Afghanistan is ranked 118th based on Global Firepower 2025 data.
Afghanistan has a total of about 80,000 military personnel and about 80,000 paramilitary personnel.
In terms of air power, Afghanistan is only recorded as having 9 aircraft.Afghanistan has no fighter, trainer, special mission or tanker aircraft.
Even so, Kabul has 6 helicopters and 3 transport aircraft.
On the ground, 100 percent of Afghanistan’s ground forces are supported by armored vehicles.Afghanistan has 5,202 such vehicles.
Afghanistan does not have tanks, self-propelled artillery, towed artillery, or rocket artillery.
Afghan sea power does not even exist because Afghanistan is a country flanked by other countries.
