Marine accident
occurred in the waters of Banjar Nyuh

, Klungkung Regency, Bali.The fast ship Wijaya Buyuk 1 collided with Bintang Laut Diving.
Eight people including foreign tourists were injured as a result of this accident.
Klungkung Police Public Relations Head Iptu I Dewa Nyoman Alit Purnawibawa said the incident occurred on Wednesday (26/11) at around 08:05 WITA and was reported at 16:00 WITA.

The Wijaya Buyuk 1 ship is known to be carrying 62 passengers and four crew members (ABK) and the Bintang Laut Diving ship is carrying one passenger.
“For the survivors (all). Yesterday they were last in hospital, there has been no update for those seriously injured,” said Inspector Purnawibawa, Thursday (27/11).
Alit explained that at around 07.20 WITA, the captain of Wijaya Buyuk 1 saw the Bintang Laut Diving Ship driven by I Nyoman Darma moving from the north at a fast and uncontrolled speed.
Then, the captain of Wijaya Buyuk 1 contacted Bintang Laut Diving, but he didn’t answer.
The passengers on the Wijaya Buyuk 1 also shouted to warn them of the distance, but the ship continued to spin out of control until it hit the back of the left side of the Wijaya Buyuk 1.
As a result of the collision, it was found that the tip of the diving Starfish Ship rose and penetrated the rear window of the Wijaya Buyuk 1 Ship.
“As a result, eight victims were injured, five foreigners and 3 Indonesian citizens, with material losses estimated at IDR 30 million which were borne by Bintang Laut Diving,” he added.
Then all the victims were immediately rushed to Nusa Medica Clinic 2 which is in Banjar Telaga, Kutampi Kaler Village, Nusa Penida, at around 08.45 WITA.
“Then at 09.15 WITA all the victims were referred to BMC Denpasar for further medical treatment,” he said.
Identity of the seriously injured victim:
1. Chu, Jungwoo-South Korean foreigner, suffered injuries to the left side of his head.
2. Shakib, Nabil, a foreigner from the United States, suffered injuries to his forehead and left temple.
3. Sintya Herlinawati-Indonesian citizen, suffered a wound on the left temple.
4. Indonesian citizen Risca Hermawan Wibowo suffered injuries to her temple and left cheek.

2. Lee Yujeong-South Korean foreigner
3. Kong Jongseok-South Korean foreigner
4. Indra Pratama Hardiyanto-WNI
