“The situation, basically, is that currently we cannot bring in new players,” said Van Gastel when met at the Mandala Krida Stadium, Tuesday (25/11), as reported by Detik.
Van Gastel then explained that the recruitment budget had been used up on last pre-season transfers.
“As I said before, our budget has been used for pre-season. So for future transfers, it might be difficult for us to bring in new players. But we’ll see, but not for now,” he stressed.
Even so, Van Gastel admitted that he already knew Ivar Jenner, considering that he had managed a Dutch League club.
“I know him (Ivar), and I once faced him (against FC Utrecht),” he said.
The UEFA Pro licensed coach added that PSIM’s focus in the transfer market will be on releasing players on loan.
“We are working to loan out players. I don’t know who will be loaned out yet,” he concluded.
