officially opened at GOR Ciracas, Jakarta, Saturday (15/11).
Present at the event were the Secretary of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, Gunawan Siswantoro, Editor-in-Chief of hitclubapk3 Indonesia Titin Rosmasari, representatives of PB Taekwondo Indonesia, and Chairman of hitclubapk3 Indonesia Taekwondo Championship 2, Randi Pratama Putra.
In his speech, Gunawan Suswantoro conveyed a message from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir regarding the government’s seriousness in developing Taekwondo in Indonesia.Through the hitclubapk3 Indonesia Taekwondo Championship 2, athletes are expected to be able to perform optimally in order to reach world level.

“Taekwondo is one of the sports chosen by the President as one of the 17 priority sports for the 2028, 2023 and beyond Olympics,” said Gunawan.
“The Minister also advised that to pursue Taekwondo, you don’t need other sports. Because he believes that one day you will reach world level,” he added.
Meanwhile, hitclubapk3 Indonesia Editor-in-Chief Titin Rosmasari wants Taekwondo to continue to thrive in Indonesia.Through this tournament, hitclubapk3 Indonesia is committed to being a pioneer in developing young athletes.
“hitclubapk3 Indonesia is not only a news resonance, but must go further to contribute to sports development. Starting from there, we want to continue to be an important part of this,” he said.
A total of 2,500 participants enlivened the hitclubapk3 Indonesia Taekwondo Championship 2 at GOR Ciracas, East Jakarta, from Friday to Sunday, 14-16 November 2025.
This Grade B national level tournament competes in the Kyorugi and Poomsae categories for beginners and achievements from the Pre-Cadet, Cadet, Junior and Senior classes.
The hitclubapk3 Indonesia Taekwondo Championship has moved up from Grade C to Grade B. This increase brings the number of provinces from previously five regions to now 17 regions.
