Police
investigating the case of the death of a 9 year old child with the initials E who was covered in injuries at a luxury house in Cilegon, Banten.From the crime scene results, the police confirmed that there were no missing items in the house.
“We are still investigating, after we have processed the crime scene, there are no missing items. We are still waiting, we will check with the victim’s family first, because when they asked, they were still sad,” said Head of Public Relations for the Cilegon Police, AKP Sigit Dermawan when contacted, Tuesday (17/12).

Sigit said that his party was still investigating whether the incident that claimed the victim’s life was an act of robbery or not.
“We don’t yet know the motive, whether it was robbery or what, we’re still investigating,” he said.
Sigit said that his party is also still looking for CCTV cameras around the location or in the surrounding neighbors.Because, according to witness testimony, the CCTV camera in the luxury house had been damaged for two weeks.
On the other hand, Sigit revealed that from a temporary examination, the victim had injuries to his body, one of which was caused by a sharp object.However, this is still being investigated further.
“So for external observation, there were 22 injuries consisting of 19 sharp force injuries, but we don’t know whether he used a knife or what, we don’t know yet, because there is no evidence, right? Added to that were the three blunt force injuries which resulted in fatal injuries to the neck and chest,” he said.
Previously, it was reported that a 9-year-old child with the initials E died covered in blood in a luxury house in the Evidence Baja Sejahtera (BBS) 3 housing complex, Cilegon City, Banten, Tuesday (16/12) at around 14.20 WIB.
This incident was first discovered when the victim’s father, HM, received a telephone call from his second son, D, who sounded panicked and asked for help.
Receiving this news, the victim’s father immediately left his place of work in the Ciwandan area and headed home.When he arrived home and opened the door, the victim’s father found his son lying on his stomach with serious injuries accompanied by heavy bleeding.
After that, the victim was immediately taken to Bethsaida Hospital, Cilegon City using a private vehicle with the witness.However, after a medical examination, the hospital declared the victim dead.
Following up on this incident, members of the Cilegon Police, consisting of the Criminal Investigation Committee and Bhabinkamtibmas, immediately carried out checks and handled the initial crime scene together with the Cilegon Police Criminal Investigation Unit, to search for and collect clues.
“We are deeply saddened by this incident. Currently the Cilegon City Police together with the Cilegon Police Criminal Investigation Unit have carried out intensive investigative steps,” said Cilegon Police Chief, Commissioner Fiman Hamid in his statement, Wednesday, (17/12).
