Four people were found
died
in a car on the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road, Km 284, in Tarub, Regency
Tegal
, Thursday (11/12) morning.The four people were suspected of being poisoned by gas in the car.
The police revealed the chronology of the discovery of the four people who died in the car.
Reporting from Detikcom, Tegal Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Bayu Prasatyo said the four people were found dead Thursday morning at around 06.00 WIB.

They were found in a silver Toyota Kijang Capsule with plate number B 1973 KVA.
Before the discovery this morning, it turned out that early the previous morning, at around 01.00 WIB, officers had visited the 4 victims while they were still alive on the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road Km 250.
Officers approached the car because it had been stopped for a long time.When visited, the driver was in a weak condition.
“Initially they stopped at KM 250 in the Brebes area. Because they stopped for quite a long time, officers approached the victim’s car. It turned out that the driver was in a weak condition,” said Bayu, Thursday (11/12).
However, even though he was weak, the driver was reluctant to be taken to hospital.Toll medical officers were then brought in and checked the driver’s condition.
The officer suggested that he be referred to a hospital, but the driver refused and signed a statement and continued his journey.
Bayu said that in the morning at around 06.00 WIB, the car was found stopped at KM 284+800.
Toll officers tried to check by knocking on doors and windows, but there was no response.
Until around 08.00, the driver and passengers did not respond.The officers then shook the car, but there was no reaction.
The toll road officer then reported the incident via service 110 to the PJR Unit and Tegal Police.
“Because there was no response, the toll road reported it to the Tegal Police. A joint team then came to handle this car,” said the Tegal Police Chief.
After being able to open the car, officers found that four people in the car had died.
Victim’s identity
These four people consisted of three adults and one toddler.
The identities of each victim are:
1. IW, male, 39 years old, address Jatisari, Bekasi City, West Java
2. PRW female, 40 years old, address Bubakan, Pacitan Regency, East Java.
3. WY female, 38 years old, address Jatisari, Bekasi City.
4. Toddlers
The bodies of the four victims were taken to Suselo Slawi Regional Hospital and autopsies were carried out.
Head of the Medical Services Division of Suselo Slawi Tegal Regional Hospital, Dr. Teguh Sukma Wibowo, explained that from the signs on the bodies, the four victims died of suffocation.
“I haven’t seen the official results yet, but from the signs on the bodies, they died of suffocation. There were no bruises or marks from sharp weapons,” said Teguh, Friday (12/12), quoted from DatikJateng.
From the existing symptoms, Teguh suspected that they died due to gas poisoning.
“Judging from the symptoms, they died of suffocation as if they were poisoned by a deadly gas. What type, that needs to be investigated further,” he said.
