According to the Cambodian Ministry of Defense, Thai troops “dropped two bombs in the Poipet City area, Banteay Meanchey Province” at around 11.00 local time on Thursday (17/12), as reported

.
However, until now Thailand has not commented on the attack.
Clashes occurred again this month between the two Southeast Asian countries which reportedly killed at least 21 people in Thailand, while as many as 17 people in Cambodia.
This incident also caused around 800,000 people to be forced to flee their homes.
This dispute was triggered by a territorial dispute regarding the establishment of an 800 kilometer border line that dates back to the colonial era, as well as the existence of a number of ancient temple ruins in the border area.
Both sides blamed each other for triggering the latest clashes, with each claiming their actions were a form of self-defense and accusing the other of attacks on civilians.
Previously, Cambodia’s Interior Ministry also said on Tuesday (16/12) that at least four casinos in the country had been damaged by Thai attacks since fighting broke out on December 7.
