Suddenly several people came in to chase him away. They didn’t dare to fight. He and dozens of his team immediately left the museum.
“There were several people we didn’t know who kicked us out or told us to leave the museum,” said Aldila.
They did not explain the reason why Aldila and his team had to immediately leave the museum.Aldila also complied with the requests of dozens of people.
“There were a lot of people, there was also a lot of our team. The situation inside became uncomfortable, so we finally left the room,” he said.
According to him, the doors to the Surakarta Palace Museum were then locked so that the team from BPK X could not enter.Even though their work equipment and materials were still inside.
“They locked all the doors with padlocks. All our equipment, our belongings are still inside,” he said.
Aldila said his team consisted of 20-25 people. They have been working at the Surakarta Palace Museum for the past month.Usually, they start working from 08.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB.
“Earlier at around 15.00 WIB (asked to leave the museum),” he said.
Furthermore, Aldila admitted that he had reported the incident to his office.
“We are still waiting for directions from BPK X, what we should do next,” he said.
When met separately, the spokesperson for SISKS Pakubuwana XIV Purbaya, KPA Singonagoro, denied that his party had carried out the expulsion. They only want to replace the palace keys so that the Babadan (cabinet) formed by SISKS Pakubuwana XIV Purbaya can work properly.
“So there was no eviction. You can see, the people there are still there,” said KPA Singonagoro.
Singonagoro said his party only asked workers from BPK X to go home early because they were going to replace the door locks.
“Because we are carrying out improvements, it’s natural for that. But when it comes to evictions, there aren’t any,” he said.
KPA Singonagoro ensures that SISKS Pakubuwana XIV Purbaya is open to communicating with all parties.
“If they want to come in tomorrow, please (please) coordinate with the organizer concerned. If at the museum, then with GKR Devi,” he said.
