“Thank God, all the evacuees who were victims of the natural flood disaster are now at home,” said Acting Head of West Aceh Regency BPBD, Teuku Ronal Nehdiansyah in West Aceh, Monday.
He said that the number of people in West Aceh Regency who were victims or affected by the natural disaster of flash floods in the area reached 39,890 people or 13,826 heads of families (KK).

The victims were spread across ten sub-districts, including 5,753 people in Johan Pahlawan Subdistrict/1,971 families, 6,871 people/2,542 families in Kaway862 people/500 families.
Then Woyla District had 6,402 people/2,256 families, East Woyla District had 1,367 people/458 families, West Woyla District had 4,486 people/1,511 families, Arongan Lambalek District had 3,219 people/1,056 families, and Panton Reue District had 55 people/25 families.
The regional government has also distributed various aid to flood victims, consisting of rice, eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles and various other aid.
Ronal added that currently the number of residents who are still isolated is 117 people or 37 heads of families (KK) spread across Sikundo Village, Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh Regency.
The West Aceh Regency Government is currently continuing to make efforts to repair the road to the Sikundo area, Pante Ceureumen District, after the five-kilometer road access to this remote area was badly damaged due to erosion by the river when the flash flood disaster occurred at the end of November 2025.
