Bobby said the disaster budget that was approved together with the North Sumatra DRPD was IDR 123 billion from the 2025 Draft Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBD).
“Please look at the 2025 R-APBD, if you say at the beginning the figure is IDR 800 billion (more), instead of the R-APBD which was ratified jointly with the DRPD the figure is IDR 123 billion,” he said.
According to Bobby, the central government’s budget efficiency policy, which will be implemented in 2025, will have quite an impact on regional disaster management budgets.
“In accordance with Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025, we have efficiency, we are told to be efficient, we are efficient. So the question is where to put the money in efficiency, it’s impossible for us not to include it,” said the younger brother-in-law of the Indonesian Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Bobby added that the budget that experienced efficiency was transferred to Unexpected Expenditures (BTT) which was also used to pay bonuses for National Sports Week (PON) and National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) in 2024.
“The money was put in BTT, but first let’s see, the BTT that was budgeted from the start was already used for PON, athlete payments which at that time were not all allocated, both PON athlete bonuses and Peparnas,” said the son-in-law of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Not only that, Bobby added, there is also BTT used for infrastructure improvements in West Nias, which was previously not allocated in the APBD.
“Then for West Nias, where the bridge was cut, BTT was also used, because it was not previously budgeted, so if you want to see it from the RAPBD, please open it, I think that’s the figure,” said the Gerindra politician.
