) will close the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (
SPPG
) or better known as the Free Nutritious Meal kitchen (
MBG
) who do not report to the respective regional health service (dinkes) within the next month.
Deputy Chair of BGN for Investigation and Public Communications, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, said BGN wants to ensure that all SPPGs have Sanitation Hygiene Eligibility Certificates (SLHS).
“We are giving partners/foundations in all SPPGs one month for them to register with the Health Service,” said Nanik, in a written statement, Tuesday (11/11).

“If there are SPPGs who do not immediately register within the next 30 days, we will temporarily close the kitchen,” he said.
Nanik explained that SLHS is an official document issued by the local health service to state that a business related to food, drink and public facilities has met hygiene and sanitation standards.
This certificate is valid for one year and must be extended for the business to remain legal.According to Nanik, SLHS at each SPPG is very important because it is a sensitive issue in society.
As of Friday (7/11), the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) reported that only around 4,000 SPPGs had registered SLHS out of more than 14 thousand SPPGs that were already operating.Of that number, only 1,287 SPPG have obtained SLHS.
Referring to the report, BGN ordered SPPG heads throughout Indonesia to immediately arrange SLHS registration with partners/foundations.
“SPPG heads must inform, advise and encourage partners/foundations who have not registered SLHS for their SPPG to immediately take care of it with the local district/city health office,” said BGN Deputy Head for Operations for Nutrition Fulfillment, Sony Sonjaya.
