Main Director of KEK Industrial Batang, Ngurah Wirawan, said that this year’s achievements reflect the increasing confidence of global investors in the region.
“Batang Industrial Area is present as a modern industrial area that is connected and ready to welcome Indonesia’s future industry. This year’s achievements show that we are on the right track in encouraging the realization of national industrial investment,” said Ngurah in a written statement, Monday (22/12).

The company recorded that 12 official investors joined this year.Dozens of investors came from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
They fill the area with strategic industries including batteries, automotive, medical devices, garments, outdoor furniture, food and beverages, footwear, steel, textiles, and packaging.
This achievement encourages the projected absorption of more than 9,000 workers, having a direct impact on the people of Batang and Central Java.A number of companies have even started operations earlier, such as PT Fondfashion.
Seamless Garment, which utilizes Ready-to-Use Factory Buildings (BPSP) while waiting for the completion of construction of their main facilities.
Other investors will operate in stages in 2026, 2027 and 2028, so that economic activity in the region will continue to increase from year to year.
In 2025, the region will also be strengthened by the presence of large-scale investors such as PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia, a company supporting the electric vehicle (EV) industry which is the largest land absorber this year, namely 31.72 hectares, strengthening the national EV supply chain.
Meanwhile, Yotrio/JJD Outdoors, an export-oriented outdoor furniture manufacturer, makes a significant contribution to the projected workforce needs to meet the United States and European markets.
The achievements of this area are in line with the statement of President Prabowo Subianto, who when inaugurating the Batang Industropolis KEK on March 20 2025, said that this area would develop into Indonesia’s Shenzhen, an advanced industrial center capable of competing globally.
“With infrastructure that continues to be improved, integrated investment services, as well as full support from the central and regional governments, KEK Industropolis Batang is committed to maintaining this positive momentum,” stressed Ngurah.
