Banten
determines the Provincial Minimum Wage
(UMP) 2026
amounting to IDR 3,100,881.40 per month.The amount increased by 6.74 percent compared to the 2025 UMP of IDR 2,905,119.90.
This determination is contained in Governor’s Decree Number 701 of 2025 and Number 702 of 2025 dated 24 December 2025.
Banten Governor Andra Soni said that the 2026 UMP policy was directed at maintaining a balance between protecting worker welfare and the business climate.

“The determination of the 2026 UMP and UMSP as well as UMK and UMSK is an effort by the Banten Provincial Government to protect workers’ purchasing power while maintaining a conducive business and investment climate,” said Andra Soni in a statement quoted

He said that the determination of the minimum wage was carried out through a transparent and participatory discussion process with the Banten Provincial Wage Council which involved elements of the government, trade unions, employers’ associations and academics.
At the district and city level, the Banten Provincial Government sets the District/City Minimum Wage (UMK) for 2026 with the following details:
– Pandeglang Regency is set at IDR 3,360,078.06, an increase of 4.79 percent from the 2025 UMK of IDR 3,206,640.32
– Lebak Regency amounting to IDR 3,330,010.62, up 4.97 percent from IDR 3,172,384.39
– Tangerang Regency amounting to IDR 5,210,377.00, up 6.31 percent from IDR 4,901,117.00
– Serang Regency amounting to IDR 5,178,521.19, up 6.61 percent from IDR 4,857,353.01
– Tangerang City amounting to IDR 5,399,405.69, up 6.50 percent from IDR 5,069,708.36
– Cilegon City amounting to IDR 5,469,922.59, up 6.67 percent from IDR 5,128,084.48
– Serang City amounting to IDR 4,665,927.94, up 5.61 percent from IDR 4,418,261.13
– South Tangerang City amounting to IDR 5,247,870.00, up 5.50 percent from IDR 4,974,392.42
Apart from the UMK, the Governor of Banten also set Regency/City Sectoral Minimum Wages (UMSK) for 2026 with the following sector details:
– Serang Regency sets the UMSK for Sector I at IDR 5,345,521.19 and Sector II at IDR 5,290,521.19.
– South Tangerang City sets the UMSK for Sector I at IDR 5,297,813.00 and Sector II at IDR 5,272,842.00.
– Cilegon City sets the UMSK for Sector I at IDR 5,606,670.54, Sector II at IDR 5,566,663.21, and Sector III at IDR 5,499,553.85.
– Tangerang City sets the UMSK for Sector I at IDR 5,777,364.08, Sector II at IDR 5,561,387.86, Sector III at IDR 5,480,396.77, Sector IV at IDR 5,453,399.74, and Sector V according to the agreement.
– Lebak Regency has set a UMSK of IDR 3,487,636.85, which is the initial UMSK because previously there was no sectoral wage.
– Tangerang Regency determines UMSK Sector I which is divided into Sub Sector 1A amounting to IDR 5,290,110.00 and Sub Sector 1B amounting to IDR 5,263,540.00, Sector II amounting to IDR 5,225,909.00, and Sector III which is divided into Sub Sector 3A amounting to IDR 5,242,278.00 and Sub Sector 3B based on a bipartite agreement between employers and workers.
The 2026 UMK and UMSK for Banten Province take effect from January 1 2026.
Furthermore, Andra ensured that the Banten Provincial Government would supervise, provide guidance and follow up on labor complaints in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
