, The Bandung Regency Government declared an emergency response status on Saturday (6/12).This status will be valid until December 19.
The emergency response decision is contained in the Bandung Regent’s decision number 300.2.1/KEP.731-BPBD/2025 concerning determining emergency response status.

“The Regent has declared emergency disaster response status,” said Head of the Bandung Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Wahyudin, Saturday (6/12).
The emergency response status is valid from today until the next 14 days, namely December 19 2025.
He continued, the Bandung Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that this weekend the weather conditions in the Greater Bandung area will experience extreme weather, ranging from moderate to very heavy rain.
As is known, floods and landslides have surrounded several areas of Bandung Regency.Most recently, a landslide hit the Kampung Condong area, Wargaluyu Village, Arjasari District, Bandung Regency, Friday (5/12) at around 16.00 WIB.
Land shifting from the slopes of Mount Sinapeul with a height of around 80 meters hit residents’ houses.Five heads of families were affected by the incident.
Pameungpeuk Police Chief AKP Asep Dedi said that the landslide was triggered by heavy rainfall which flushed the area from noon to evening.
“There has been a shift in land that hit the houses of five families. The landslide came from the slopes of Mount Sinapeul with unstable soil conditions due to heavy rain,” said Asep.
As a result of this incident, three residents were reported to be still buried by landslide material.Meanwhile, another victim was successfully evacuated with a head injury and was immediately rushed to Nambo Hospital for medical treatment.
This landslide incident adds to the long list of disaster incidents in Bandung Regency.
Previously, from 3-4 December 2025, landslides and floods occurred simultaneously in a number of sub-districts in Bandung Regency.The heavy rainfall that fell on the area from midday to evening triggered dozens of incidents with a significant impact on residential areas and public facilities.
