Another resident, Nanda, also complained about the same thing. He said that the electricity in his area in the Surien area, Banda Aceh had been out for 3 days.In fact, the electricity was turned on on Wednesday (3/12) evening at around 22:30 WIB.
However, it died again in the morning, Thursday (4/12) at around 08:00 WIB.
Nanda initially intended to buy a generator engine to overcome this problem.
However, because the price skyrocketed three times, he gave up his plans because of information that today electricity was restored.
“The information was that it was on today, but until now it hasn’t (turned on). We are also having trouble getting to work due to electricity and network obstruction,” he said.
Meanwhile
General Manager of PLN UID Aceh, Eddi Saputra, said that the electricity disturbance was triggered by problems that occurred at the Arun pambangkit. He said his party was working to restore electricity.
He said PLN had erected four Emergency Restoration System (ERS) towers in Pantai Baru, Bireuen, as an effort to accelerate the recovery of the electricity system after the disaster in Aceh.
PLN is targeting electricity distribution from Arun to Banda Aceh to be carried out on Sunday (7/12) after the process of pulling and tying the conductors is complete.
“The estimate will be completed tomorrow, and please pray that on Sunday we will try to energize it,” said Eddi Saputra during a coordination meeting with the Aceh Government, Friday (5/12) evening.
He hopes that the supply from Arun can immediately flow to Banda Aceh, which until now has not been fully lit.
“Hopefully with the success of Sunday’s energize, this supply from Arun can supply Banda Aceh, so that areas that have not yet been lit can recover optimally,” he said.
