“I am sure and believe that there are definitely still many shortcomings. Things will definitely still happen that we never expected to happen in the field. Therefore, as a government we are also deeply concerned and if there is something that we have not provided optimally, we apologize,” said Bahlil during a press conference at his office, Tuesday (9/12).

Bahlil ensured that he would continue to focus and make total efforts to restore the electricity network in Aceh even though it would take time.
“We, the government, will totally use all the state’s resources in order to accelerate recovery in the existing energy sector, especially in Aceh Province,” he explained.
The same thing was conveyed by the Main Director of PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo.He apologized to the people of Aceh because there were still many shortcomings in the recovery process.
This is because the damage to the PLN network to the area was so severe that recovery took time.
Although, he promised that the company would work hard to restore electricity in Aceh.
“For this reason, I really understand the disappointment and difficulties of the community. There is no reason that can erase this inconvenience. Once again I apologize and ensure that we, the team, continue to work fully on how to restore the electricity system in Aceh,” said Darmawan.
According to Darmawan, currently the recovery process is being carried out in stages.This is because the networks that have been restored have low voltage and are insufficient to illuminate the entire area.
“We also once again apologize deeply, Banda Aceh is still experiencing rolling blackouts. There is still a supply shortage of 40 Mega Watts,” he stressed.
