The Indonesian women’s team will have their first match at
SEA Games 2025
by facing Myanmar.
The badminton sport at this year’s SEA Games will compete in team events first.The Indonesian women’s team team will face Myanmar, while the men’s team team will receive a bye and get a free ticket to the semifinals.
The Indonesia vs Myanmar match in the women’s team match will take place at Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Pathum Thani, on Sunday (7/12) at 10.00 WIB.

The Indonesia vs Myanmar match took place in the quarter-finals.If they win over Myanmar, the Red and White squad will face the winner between Vietnam and Malaysia in the semifinal match.
Meanwhile, in the other block, Thailand is certain to qualify for the semifinals and will meet Singapore or the Philippines in the final ticket match.
The Indonesian women’s team team is strengthened by Putri Kusuma Wardani, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, as well as a series of doubles specialist players such as Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma, Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Rachel Allessya Rose, and Febi Setianingrum.
Apart from that, there are two players who usually play in the mixed doubles sector, namely Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Nita Violina Marwah.
The captain of the Indonesian women’s team team is Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma.The player who is familiarly called Ana is determined to win gold and improve on her achievements from two years ago.
“I’m happy to be chosen as captain. My friends and I want to show that this women’s team team can win a gold medal for Indonesia,” said Ana, quoted from a PBSI release.
At the 2023 SEA Games, Indonesia failed to win gold in the women’s team sector because they lost to Thailand.
